Practice

CLG’s litigation practice encompasses a vast genre of cases – from Constitutional matters to commercial, civil and criminal cases. We were the Standing Counsels for the State of Assam in the Supreme Court of India from 2001-2016. CLG had represented the State in key areas like Constitutional law, Civil, Criminal, Labour, Service, Direct and Indirect Tax and Boundary disputes, matters which critically impacts substantial questions of law, of national significance. 

We represent companies, including PSUs, before the Supreme Court, various High Courts, subordinate courts and other forums. We are among a small number of law firms in India, which are registered with the Supreme Court of India as Advocates on Record.
